"Both science and faith play a part in helping me to make sense of the world. Science gives me a basic understanding of the world that I share with everyone else.
It also reveals something of God to everyone, which is essentially what St Paul was saying in his letter to the Roman church. Faith builds on this basic knowledge. It is the narrative that helps me understand my relationship to the world, to other people and ultimately God. Faith motivates everything I do, including my science, so both are integral aspects of my life."
